Meet the Attorney

Ms. Marlett has represented thousands of claimants in their Social Security hearings, working endlessly to ensure that they receive their much needed benefits.  She strategically handles hearings, including obtaining testimony, cross examination, preparation of briefs and presentation of evidence.

Ms. Marlett completed her undergraduate degree in psychology at the University of California, Los Angeles and has worked as a therapist prior to practicing law. In her spare time she enjoys yoga, reading, adoring her two young boys, cuddling with her dog & cat, as well as blogging about nature-based education for children.

She is an active member of the CA State Bar Association. Ms. Marlett received her Juris Doctorate at Pepperdine University School of Law, where she was the Magister of Phi Delta Phi’s Honors Legal Fraternity. Ms. Marlett is published in the Administrative Law Journal and the Victim Offender Mediation Association’s Journal. She has written many articles which can be found online, and has also contributed to the published “Book on Social Security Disability.”
